Maya #Indie Film Series Comes to #Chicago

Great films are harder and harder to find, but I am fortunate to live in the city of Chicago where the welcome mat is pulled out for film festivals, series, and events. Today, the Maya Indie Film Series rolled into town and will be showing seven films at AMC Rivercenter 9 including (click to watch the trailers!):
  • All She Can
  • Without Men
  • Forged
  • Where the Road Meets the Sun
  • Blue Eyes
  • Sympathy for Delicious
  • Di Di Hollywood
This year the series features films from Eva Longoria, Kate del Castillo, Oscar Nunez, Christian Slater, Manny Perez, Mark Ruffalo and Orlando Bloom!

For two years now, Maya Entertainment has been bringing culturally diverse cinema to cities around the country. I am a huge fan of foreign and indie films, so I am always excited to hear about festivals that come to town, and definitely glad to find out about the newcomer. The series plays in Chicago today through Thursday the 15th and then moves on to Dallas, San Francisco, and Miami.

Personally, I am looking forward to seeing All She Can the most, followed by Forged, and then of course there is no arm twisting necessary where Orlando Bloom is concerned.

You can check out more information about the films on Maya Indie Series' website.

And stay tuned for my movie reviews and a possible DVD giveaway!

Will you be checking out any of the films?
