Late last month Crowdtap, a site that I have been using for the last year, along with Old Navy offered me the chance to go shopping through for a summer dress. I am a huge fan of sundresses and skirts in the summertime. The best part, I got to pick a dress for myself, and a friend got to do the same!
If you have not had the chance to shop the new dress collection at Old Navy for this summer yet, get there now! I went in thinking I was going to get a short skirt, but ended up with a maxi- that I LOVE.
I think I tried every dress in the store on, and was stuck between three, when I walked back from the fitting room and spotted the only purple colored dress. The thing was, it was hanging in the tiny maternity corner, but I couldn't care less. I loved it, love the color blocking, and purple is my favorite color. Found one that fit, and its a maxi, so like anyone is going to know!
Because I had been given a second dress voucher to share with a friend, I took Christine to shop with me. She picked out a maxi dress too, coincidentally. I have seen her in it a couple times too because it has been unseasonably warm here in Chicago.
I would love my maxi in another color palette because it is so comfy and cute I know I am going to want to wear it all the time. As soon as Missy saw the dress I snagged, she went and tried on many of the same dresses herself. LOVE summer! Thanks Old Navy and Crowdtap!
*I received a free dress from Crowdtap and Old Navy to review. No financial compensation was received. This review and shopping experience is my honest opinion.*
