They Like Me, They Really Like Me! Verizon Wireless Midwest Savvy Moms

Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Wireless Midwest Savvy Moms program and have been provided with a wireless device and six months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.

Hey Chicas, so I totally had my Sally Field award acceptance moment this past weekend when I was asked to be a Verizon Wireless Midwest Savvy Mom! Verizon wants to give me the opportunity to learn about their network, the awesome devices it supports and how the technology can fit into and make daily life for the familia easier. Cool, no?!

To start off our relationship, they invited me out to the city so I could learn all about Verizon Wireless and meet the other mamas. They had been teasing us all week with hints about the device we were going to get to try out, and it turned out to be the one I wanted!
Super excited! I had been talking about get the Note, but it didn't fit into any of my jean pockets or my clutches, so then I started talking about the Samsung Galaxy SIII. And now I have one! We all got to meet with a Samsung tech guy to learn about the SIII, got familiar with our new devices, and then we were let loose to play with them on our own.

K, so everyone that knows me knows that the twins are like my little sidekicks, with me all the time. They are going to help me give the Samsung Galaxy SII a run for its money over the next couple of months here so that we can report back to y'all. We are already planning activities around the phone, lol!
  • This week, we will keep up with the London Olympics with the help of the SIII and Samsung's cool apps!
  • Next week we will show you how easy and fast it is to tether a bunch of devices, while on a road trip!
For now though, I have to mention the motion sensitive portion of the SIII and the Verizon Network. I absolutely love the "Shake It" "Wave Ya Hand" and swipe to screenshot features. Seriously the twins start singing Metro's, Shake It, when I want to update apps and Nicki Minaj's, Wave Ya Hand, when I go to answer a call. As for the network, no more standing outside to make a call, nor have I dropped a call yet, even when I have gone out to the boonies in NW IL (rode the Metra line too without a problem).

I'll have my, first go with the SIII, video edited and up for y'all tomorrow. Mind you I was messing around with it immediately after I got it and before I read any of the manual, lol.

I think Verizon and I are going to be amigos for life at this rate!

Let us know what you think we should do with our new technology?
