Why I Can't Stand Lisa Lampanelli

I don't really remember the first time I thought that some celebrities were better off forgoing these reality shows in order to boost or restart their careers. 9 out of 10 times, its a bad idea, at least in my opinion. True, there have been some success stories, but for the most part I, and the better part of the world that happens to catch a bit of these reality shows, ends up irritated, disliking, or in the case of Lisa Lampanelli (and Aubrey O'Day), not able to stand them at all. 

For the record I think it should be noted that I rarely watch television, and very little of what I do see is reality television. The snippets that I do get to see are minutes of what is actually taking place, so the fact that I am still able to dislike someone based on that amount of time says a lot.

Rascal Flatts, Changed Album Review

Just a few years ago I had never even heard of Rascal Flatts, these days I wonder what I spent my youth listening to. it was actually a friend that introduced me to the band in college via a similar introduction to MTVs world of reality television. Rascal Flatts made an appearance for an over the top sweet sixteen party and as soon as I heard them play I was a fan.

Why The Field's Genghis Khan Exhibit Flopped #Chicago

I am about to do something I never thought I would do. I am going to recommend that you save your money and do not pay to go see the newest exhibit at the Field Museum, Genghis Khan. That hurt, but I stand by it. 

I love the Field Museum. Not only is it my favorite of all museums, but it is my favorite place in Chicago. I could live there.  And I have been to countless special exhibitions hosted by The Field, there are actually very few that I have missed since early childhood.

Tons of Old Navy Dresses This Summer!

Late last month Crowdtap, a site that I have been using for the last year, along with Old Navy offered me the chance to go shopping through for a summer dress.  I am a huge fan of sundresses and skirts in the summertime. The best part, I got to pick a dress for myself, and a friend got to do the same!
